These terms apply when you use our website at pocketpixel.com.au or buy through our checkout at shop.pocketpixel.com.au. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms, so please read them first. "We", "us" and "our" mean Pocket Pixel and its owner.

Pocket Pixel is a business name registered with ASIC. We're a small online business run by one owner in Victoria, Australia.

Using our website
• Please use our website legally. Don't try to break it, overload it or get into parts you're not meant to.
• The words, pictures and designs on our website are protected by copyright. Some belong to us and some to others. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.

Our product
We sell the Pocket Pixel R36H, a retro-style handheld game console.
• Colours on your phone or computer may look a little different from the real console.
• Anything shown on the console's screen, in our photos or the pixel-art scenes on our website, is for illustration only. It doesn't mean any games come with the console.
• You're responsible for making sure any games or software you add to your console are legally obtained.

Prices and payment
• All prices are in Australian dollars (AUD).
• Pocket Pixel isn't registered for GST, so we don't charge GST or issue tax invoices.
• Bundle savings (Duo saves $20, Trio saves $60) come off automatically at checkout.
• Shopify Payments processes your payment.
• You pay the price shown at checkout. We'll never charge you more than that.
• If we find an obvious mistake in a price, we'll email you. You can cancel for a full refund, or keep your order at the price you paid.

Orders
• After you place an order, we'll email you to confirm it. Your order is accepted when we send that email.
• Please check your order and delivery address carefully before you pay.
• If we can't supply your order, we'll email you, cancel it and give you a full refund.

Delivery
• Shipping is free, to addresses in Australia only.
• Delivery usually takes 7–14 business days.
• A third-party supplier sends your order from overseas. You only ever deal with us.

Returns and refunds
• Changed your mind? Email us within 30 days of delivery to start a return. You pay the return postage to our supplier overseas.
• If your console is faulty, damaged or not as described, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law apply, with no 30-day limit. If it needs to come back, we pay the postage.
• Please email us first. Wait for our reply with the return address before you post anything.

Your consumer rights
Your Pocket Pixel comes with guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law that we can't take away. Nothing in these terms takes away, limits or changes those rights.
For a major problem, you choose a refund, a replacement or compensation for the drop in value. For a minor problem, we choose a repair, replacement or refund. You can also claim for other loss that could reasonably have been foreseen.

Our responsibility
If there's a problem with your console or your order, email us. We'll deal with it as our Refund and Shipping policies and the Australian Consumer Law set out.
As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for:
• loss that couldn't reasonably have been foreseen
• delays caused by things we can't reasonably control, like bad weather or customs checks
• damage from using the console in a way it wasn't designed for, or from an accident after delivery not caused by a fault in the console
You can still cancel a late order for a full refund, or choose a replacement or full refund if it's lost.
None of this limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other rights the law says can't be limited.

Changes to these terms
• We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
• Changes only apply to orders placed after we post them. Your order is covered by the terms that applied when you placed it.

Which laws apply
The laws of Victoria, Australia apply to these terms. This doesn't take away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law or the laws of your state or territory.
